How I will spending my Monday off: Wine, WoW, and fighting off a cat in heat that’s all up in my shit. The box says it can serve 20 glasses; I intend to find out.

You do not want to end up in my situation if she manages to get out—struggling to get half a dozen females spayed before the next heat. Not to mention a fun fact…females in heat spray! Mmm, extra-strong cat urine.

My husband and I intend to get her spayed, and we’ve been meaning to for the last couple of months when this all began. We both work all the time though and the only vet in town does it just on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I think we’re going to have to ask a friend or family member to take her in for us though. Or start looking outside of town?
I hope things get better for you and you get all those beautiful furbabies spayed. As much as I love cats, one is enough for now. So yes, it needs to be done NOW. Haha.
Aye, I’ve been paying a long time for my parents not spaying the stray girl I brought home as a 12-year-old. Many many many litters and eventually having to harden to the fact few would make it to the first year (as parents utterly refused to allow any in the house). Have finally had the money to make a dedicated effort to getting all the girls done in a sweep so that there’s no more litters, and then I start working on the boys so that the roaming and fighting is (mostly) taken care of. Sorry I sounded harsh—I don’t want anyone to have to deal with that kind of thing, or the exponential population growth those ladies are capable of.
